My Journey with birth continues.  My certification process with the International Loving Touch Parent-Infant Massage Foundation is complete.  The Loving Touch program is a parent enrichment program that cultivates love, compassion, respect, & well-being for infants and children through touch.

Please see current list of classes. There are four basic classes that can be adapted to a group class format (four classes) or individual format (2 to 3 classes) depending on who is in attendance. Please RSVP so I can plan for each class.

Parent - Infant Series | $110 - $150 (sliding scale)  | 4 Sessions - includes book and oil
Prenatal Class | $35 - $55 per class |  1 to 2 Sessions - includes book and oil
Private Class  |$40 - $60 per class |  2 to 3 Sessions - includes book and oil

You receive 1 book and bottle of oil at the first class you attend.  Please bring your book and oil to subsequent classes.

What to bring: your baby or doll if expecting, soft comfortable blanket, small towel, special play toy, and easy to remove baby clothing. Please feed your baby before class as stimulated babies may get hungry. There will be feeding opportunities during class time and at the end. Space is limited so reserve your spot today. Private Parent - Infant Massage Classes are tailored to meet your families needs presenting the Loving Touch program in a 2 to 3 class format instead of the 4 part group series.  This is a great format for expectant families, as well as, for after the baby is born.

Parent - Infant Massage 4 Class Series

Instructor:   Kate Katahdin, CIMI, LMBT  (NC #5345)

Description:  Parents will learn the art of Infant Massage in our class designed for newborns ranging in age from birth to 12 months. Throughout the class, you will learn how to read your infants cues, understand their behavioral states, techniques for relaxation, and the colic routine. This class also provides a place for parents & newborns in the local area to meet each other, and begin a sense of community early on.
